This is not a new topic, as it appeared a couple of years ago, but without being satisfactorily resolved...
I want to change label size from 3mm to 1mm, so I try Project Manager > Styles > Labels, and reduce font size to 1mm. But NO CHANGE.
So I then try PM > Layers > select the layer > Labels > Apply one style of label > and change Font Height to 1mm,
BUT STILL NO CHANGE
I've wrestled with this for several years. Can anyone help, please? |

Hi John,
Hmmm, this looks strange to me as I, and other MM users, never had such kind of a pb. Style set tab : Does the layer use the project style set? Assign according to... : Internal style numbers? Database? All one style?
Would you zip and send an MM project?
Regards.

John
Try setting the font size to 1.1mm. That works for me. I get no response to setting the font size 1mm or lower.

The label size was set to a minimum of above 1mm (i.e. 1.1mm). There needs to be a minimum because drawing text at very small sizes it can cause Windows to freeze up, though this is better with more modern releases of Windows. We've now changed the minimum to 0.5mm, though it remains the case that is the font size results in fonts less than 4 pixels high it will not be displayed. |
