Hello,

I have recently bought a licence for MM pro 3.5 and have used it to make maps using Google Earth. I want to use it for street tree surveys and would like to import os street maps into it and annotate the trees onto those.

My question is very basic but, what file format do I use and how do I import them into mm?

Many thanks

Phil

You can either go to the Ordnance Survey Open Data web site https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/opendatadownload/products.html and there download the relevant tiles of "OS Street View" in TIF format. Thes files will open directly in Map Maker. Or you can go to http://www.mapmaker.com/downloads/gb/Download.htm#start and there download other TIF files which are based on the OS Street View data but with added topographic data.
