Dear All,
I have recently lost sight of my edit/ tool bar - not the one on the left hand side of the map with the icons drag and zoom etc but the one that usually hovvers on the top right of the map which allows you to save projects and layers, import GPS data etc... I may have dragged it away by mistake but can not see it minimised anywhere at the side of the screen... any ideas?
Thanks, Daniel

Hi Daniel,
This might be a solution: Could you edit you mmd.ini file? It is stored in the following directory: C:\Users\Daniel\AppData\Roaming\Map Maker\Gratis\Configuration
And change the following line : Screen:Clean screen=boolean, yes as follows : Screen:Clean screen=boolean,no Save and exit from your favorite editor. Start MM and, if you want to get back to the "Clean screen" mode: File - System set-up - Preferences - Screen - Clean screen = yes
Regards,
Philippe |

Try starting MM. If you cannot see the menu bar then press Ctrl+Alt+P. This will display the Preferences dialogue box. There go to Preferences - Screen and un-tick the "Clean Screen" option, then press OK.
You should then have a regular Windows menu bar. |

Perhaps a re-load of the Mapmaker programme is advisable? D. |

Can't you find the mmd.ini file itself with the Explorer? Which version of Windows are you running?
Bon courage!

Ctrl+P sets the polygon tool and so shows the polygon cursor. Holding down both Ctrl and Alt simultaneously and pressing P displays the preferences box. |
