(I just deleted my previous post (transparency problem
) because the problem was not what I thought.)
Here is my actual problem:
I have been using a calibrated map (.tif file) for years in MM3.
When using it with MM3, its calibration is just fine and the bottom left corner of my map is:
47° 1 20.064 N / 4° 8 2.450 E 586177,9 metres / 5208259,6 metres (Burgundy, France).
However when I open it in MM4, this original calibration does not remain; instead, the bottom left corner of my map becomes:
1,488744° W / 0,000117° N 0,00 metres / 13,00 metres
Let me just add that in both MM3 & 4, I set up the same projection parameters, i.e.:
UTM 31 WGS 84 global
--> The problem is that my projection parameters cannot be understood by MM4!
For info, I have also been using a Google Earth photo (.tif file) for years with MM3. When opening this file with MM4, I find it at the right place, i.e. about 47° 1 N / 4° 8 E!
--> So how comes that the calibration of one .tif file is read correctly by MM4 and not the other one? And what can I do?
Thanks for your kind answers!
