Hi,

I'm on the verge of buying a Mac.

Windows is frustrating me more and more. Is the anyone who uses MM on a Mac? If so do you have any views on using MM with it? Are there any pitfalls? I'm using MM more and more in my day to day work, and to be frank I guess that if MM is impossible with a Mac I'd be unlikely to get one.

Any comments gratefully received.

Cheers

Mark

Hi Mark,

I have MM on an Apple Imac. MM will not work on the native Mac operating system. So I use Bootcamp which allows me to install Windows XP as a second operating system in a partition of the hard drive. Bootcamp comes with all new Macs. I installed MM onto the partition and it has been working well for the past two years. Quite easy to set up. I use the Windows partition for MM; everything else is done on the Mac partition. The only downside to this system is that you have to shut down the computer every time you need to switch operating systems from Windows to Mac OS and vice versa. If you did not wish to do this you can buy Parallels Desktop which will allow you to run both operating systems at the same time.

Go for it!

Neil

Hi,

I got the Mac yesterday, and had a painless (but somewhat slow) time installing Parallels, and migrating all my PC stuff onto the Mac. Straight away MM worked perfectly in the Windows partition.

I have a good feeling about this Mac. Oh happy day!

Cheers

Mark
