Hi all,
Does anyone know of a way to extract specific layers from OS Opendata vector products? I should like to use a layer of rivers and waterbodies, to save plotting them all manually, but I do not want all the roads and buildings. Or if I ever do want the roads, I want to have control over adding them to my maps.

According to the manual I was looking for SurfaceWater_Line.shp, SurfaceWater_Area.shp, but I could not find them.
I finally realised that I was using the data from 2010, labelled alpha. Upon downloading the more recent beta version, I have now got these files included.
Just goes to show that you should always try to use the most up to date version.
