I have got a technical problem. MM Pro on opening shows 'Redraw failed' and then 'Start up: map frame initialisation failed'. The programme then appears to start, but as soon as I try to open a project I get 'Access violation at address 00846E81 in module 'MMM.exe'. Read of address 00000090'. Finally, the project loads, with all layers present in the project manager, but with no image, merely 'Redraw failed' again.
I have reloaded MM Pro, several times - even going so far as to properly uninstall it, rebooting the pc and then downloading a fresh programme, but the result is the same.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem and are there any suggestions?

Hmmm?
1) Make sure that the Map Maker Temporary data directory (something like C:\Users\Hugh\AppData\Roaming\Map Maker\Gratis\Temporary data) is empty in the AppData directory before you re-install MM.
2) Edit your project file(s) (ie *.geo) with the notepad and make sure that the paths to your files (vector, raster, etc.) are ok.
Then everything should work fine.
