I don't have any control over the column widths in a merged database.
I have tried setting the column widths in the database to be merged, an Excel worksheet, and have edited the column widths in the default database all prior to the database merge.
When looking at the resulting merged database in a data query the column widths are shown as I wanted but the data in the fields is cut off at what appears to be an arbitrary number of characters.
Can anyone help me with this so I can see the full extent of my text items when using the data tool?
