In previous versions of MM, there was a toll called "Symbol" which you could use to place a chosen symbol at a specific location. You could also import sets of such symbols from a CSV or Excel file, specifying position, caption and the particular symbol desired.
I cannot see how to do either of these things in MM4, and none of my existing .GEO files load correctly - at best, I get a display showing the caption, but none of the associated symbols.

I have found part of what is going wrong. When I import either a complete .geo file or a single .dra file that was created in MM 3.5, t the value for "Style Number" is not correctly imported. If I use "Utilities ... Database Utilities ... Generate data Table from a .DRA" the resultant CSV files shows a "Style Number" which has had 20000 added to it - eg 20006 instead of 6.
What is going on? |

Pro 4 is dealing differently with styles. In Pro3.5 one style dealt with all objects: Polygons, Lines, Symbols and Text. In Pro 4 this is now split: Styles 0-9999 deal with polygons, 10000-19999 lines, 20000 range points, 30000 reange text. It makes it more transparent and styles are easier to find (use the filter tick boxes).
