I downloaded and installed the newest version of MapMaker yesterday and today I find that I have problems with custom hatching. The hatching appears in the polygons on the map correctly but fail to appear in the Project Legend or only appear as the background colour, both in Project Manager and in Print Preview.
I have reverted to my last saved version (June 2011) and the problem has gone. Has anyone else experienced this or is it peculiar to my system?

Me too. When I use custom hatching, both the line (polygon boundary)and the internal custom hatching appear only intermittently in the map-furniture legend.

I’m also having problems with pattern fill using a symbol as the fill. The problem only occurs with “spill” selected. I can create a Style with no spill selected, and all is fine. I then duplicate that Style and select “spill” on the new Style and the fill goes everywhere on the outside of a polygon, but not inside the polygon! The bug even shows itself in the “Style Edit”, where the fill covers the whole of the Review Window!
The problem started after an Update around July, but at first I thought that I was having “finger troubles”. However, I recently bought a new fast PC and installed MM from scratch. Before copying over my old “ini” and data files, I decided to test for this problem using a “virgin” copy of MM. The problem is definitely there, and is a slight nuisance as I rather like the spill feature, especially for woodland. I’m wondering if anyone can throw any light on this? Thanks in anticipation!
