I cannot seem to work out from the manual how to group together isolated blocks of woodland with the same compartment number and arrow label with area (combined) in a split circle ?

I have seen this represented on either ArcView or MapInfo maps.

I am searching for the likes of "select polygons within live layer and group label (arrow) with combined area (hectarage)". Am I getting close or is this operation impossible in MM ?

Still a little rusty on MM.

Hello Alastair,

I'm not sure it's good practice, though you can use the join tool to create a polygon made of several non-contiguous polygons.

Sorry, but the arrow label will be attached to one single polygon.

Consider renaming id's from 1 to 1-1, 1-2, ... etc.?
